As we all know, Thanksgiving this year will look different. One of the true mainstays that will give us some form of normalcy has the NFL during the day. The three-game slate is starting with the Houston Texans traveling to Detroit to take on the Lions. The 3-7 Texans are led by QB Deshaun Watson [O/U 299.5 Passing Yards], who led his team in a BIG win last week over the New England Patriots. Watson played a large factor in that victory, hitting the over in passing yards on his player prop betting line with 344 yards. On the other side of the ball, QB Matt Stafford and the Detroit Lions enter this game, coming off a terrible, being shoutout 20-0 against the Carolina Panthers. Like the Lions, Matt Stafford had a slow game hitting the under on his player prop betting line. The Texans hope to keep up this momentum on Thursday.

The home-team Lions are led by NFL Legend/Future Hall-of-Famer RB Adrian Peterson [O/U 51.5 Rushing Yards.] Unfortunately for the Lions, Peterson has been showing his 35-year old age, hitting the under in rushing yards on his player prop betting line in each of the last 7 games. Wideout Marvin Jones [O/U 55.5 Receiving Yards] has been similar to Peterson in the sense that he has hit the under on his player prop betting line in 3 of the last 4 games. The only Lion who seems to actually resemble a lion on the football field is TE TJ Hockensen [O/U 49.5 Receiving Yards], who hit the over in his player prop betting line last week while the Lions got shutout.
The traveling Texans are surely missing the loss of ALL-PRO wideout Deandre Hopkins, but they do have a good receiving core led by Will Fuller [O/U 4.5 Receptions] to make up for it. Fuller has been on a tear as of late, hitting the over in receptions on his player prop betting line in each of the last 3 games. Joining Fuller in this receiving core is Brandin Cooks [O/U 65.5 Receiving Yards], who had a great game last week vs New England, hitting the over on his player prop betting line finishing with 85 yards. Closing out this Texans offense is RB Duke Johnson [O/U 56.5 Rushing Yards], Johnson unlike the receivers in this offense has been fairly cold, hitting the under on his player prop betting line in the past 8 games.
