Kicking off week 15, we have an AFC West Showdown with the 4-9 Chargers taking on the 7-6 Raiders. The Chargers are currently eliminated from all playoff contention, yet the Raiders find themselves on the outside looking in, currently sitting 9th position behind two 8-5 teams in the Ravens and Dolphins. Even though the Chargers seemingly do not have much to play for, their rookie quarterback Justin Herbert [O/U 1.5 Passing Touchdowns] is still trying to earn his stripes and establish himself as a legit player in this league. So far, Herbert has been doing a great job of that, hitting the over in passing touchdowns on his player prop betting line on 8 occasions this season. On the other side of the ball is Derek Carr [O/U 1.5 Passing Touchdowns], who many NFL fans would say is one of the most inconsistent quarterbacks in this league. Carr has managed to one-up his rookie counterpart by hitting the over on his player prop betting line in 9 games so far this season. We have a great divisional primetime matchup to kick off Week 15.
The home team Raiders receiving core is led by one of the best tight ends in the game right now in Darren Waller [O/U 65.5 Receiving Yards.] Waller has played great as of late, hitting the over in his player prop betting line in 3 of the last 4 games, including a 200-yard performance in a win over the Jets. Joining Waller is WR Nelson Agholor [O/U 4.5 Receptions], who has been over performing similarly to his teammate. Agholor has hit the over in receptions on his player prop betting in 3 of the last 4 games. Closing out this Vegas receiving core is one the fastest players in the NFL in rookie Henry Ruggs III [O/U 3.5 Receptions.] It seems that Ruggs has yet to find his footing in this league, hitting the under on his player prop betting line in all 11 games that he played in his career. A former Alabama Crimson Tide teammate who joins Ruggs in underperforming is RB Josh Jacobs [O/U 71.5 Rushing Yards.] Jacobs has hit the under in rushing yards on his player prop betting line in each of the last 3 games he has played in. If the Raiders want to win this game and ultimately be in the playoff hunt, they need to step up offensively.
The visiting Chargers’ offense is led by one of the top wideouts in the league in Keenan Allen [O/U 7.5 Receptions.] Allen had himself a great game last week in a win over the Falcons while hitting the over on his player prop betting line, finishing with 9 receptions. Mike Williams [O/U 3.5 Receptions], who has played rock-solid as of late, hit the over on his player prop betting line in 4 of the last 6 games. TE Hunter Henry [O/U 4.5 Receptions] closes out this Chargers’ receiving core. Henry has hit the over in receptions in 2 of the last 3 games. RB Austin Ekeler [O/U 53.5 Rushing Yards] leads this LA ground attack. Ekeler had a great game last week against Atlanta, where he rushed for 79 yards while hitting the over on his player prop betting line.
