OUR FOUNDER’S STORY
Sowing the seeds of growth
Our founder, Bud Hawk, began his journey as part of a farming family in Wichita and has since grown into the Chairman of a $3 billion global asset manager.
The same principles that yield a good harvest – disciplined management, risk mitigation, attentive nurturing – are engrained in the Corstone investment philosophy. Over the past three decades we have grown the Corstone platform from a tiny, three person shop in Washington, D.C., to an asset manager covering five continents. The resilient determination of the early Corstone team has allowed us to cultivate valuable opportunities around the world.
Although Corstone is now a multi-billion AUM player on the global stage, we maintain strong ties to our humble beginnings.
